Description
Shot on Pell Street in Chinatown, New York City on a rainy night.
The street light illuminates the flying horse seen in the distance, which is made entirely of dried noodles. This "Chollima" is a mythical winged horse that originates from the Chinese classics and is commonly portrayed in East Asian mythology. This winged horse is said to be too swift and elegant to be mounted by any mortal man.
Various shops and restaurants line the sidewalk. I'm so curious about the apartments above the storefronts. What do they look like inside? So much history on this classic New York street.

The lighted building at the end of the street just yanks the viewer straight down there, amid the noise and scent and sounds of the city.
