This is a drawing by John Varley, somewhere between 1798-1842. The original was graphite on tan wove laminate card. This image has been colorized. A cottage with exposed brick and chimney along a quiet, dirt path with a worn fence and a variety of trees. A couple can be seen in the distance on the path. A very rustic, rural country scene.
