Artist's Description
Beautiful Lake Hodges in Escondido, California with a view of the reservoir and mountains in the distance against a clear light blue sky. Tall plants can be seen growing from the lake, popping through the surface of the water. I am not sure what the plants are called but I assume they are some sort of pond weed. Nevertheless, the lovely green tall water grass (let's just call it that) makes a nice addition to this nature image. The bright green plants contrasted with the dry mountains adds lots of interest. This is a very peaceful place, not crowded at all. A great place to just walk and think and be alone.
