Description
A beautiful scene from Valley of Fire State Park, just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. Large red rocks were formed after the sea evaporated more than 200 million years ago. Red sand was left on the ocean floor and that is how these gorgeous red rocks came into existence. Mind boggling to think that this area was once all under water. And then dinosaurs roamed around for a bit. And now you can safely roam around without the nuisance of a dinosaur getting in your way! Check out Valley of Fire State Park next time you visit Las Vegas. It's less than an hour away and there are some easy hikes with phenomenal views.
